Dr. Sheinker is from New York and is living proof that great things come in small packages. She attended the undergraduate program at the University of Michigan starting in 1989. Dr. Sheinker then attended Sackler School of Medicine from which she graduated in 1997. From 2000-2001, she was at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx as chief. 

After relocating to South Florida, she worked as a pediatrician in Boca Raton for several years before starting Cohen & Sheinker Pediatrics. She and Dr. Cohen founded the practice in 2008. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys daily workouts and spends time with her husband and daughter. 

Dr. Cohen is originally from North Miami Beach, FL. He graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans. Thereafter, he attended the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, from which he graduated in 1984. Dr. Cohen completed a Pediatric Residency at Nassau County Medical Center/SUNY Stony Brook in Long Island, NY. Afterward, he completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan.

Dr. Cohen has worked as an Emergency Room physician and Pediatric Hospitalist both in New York and South Florida. He has been practicing General Pediatrics for 22 years. In his spare time, Dr. Cohen loves to spend time with family & friends, travel and listen to music!

Dr. Harvey hails from NYC and all of his education and training were completed in the Big Apple. He graduated from SUNY-Binghamton with a BS in Biology in 1983 and received his MD degree from SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 1987. Dr. Harvey completed his pediatric residency and chief residency in 1991 at the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Long Island, NY. Immediately thereafter, he moved to the West Coast of Florida and has been a board-certified pediatrician in private practice since that time. 

Dr. Harvey moved to South Florida in August 2017 and joined Cohen & Sheinker Pediatrics as a full-time Pediatrician. He was thrilled to become a member of this incredible team, which compromise one of the fastest growing and highly regarded practices in Boca Raton. 

Dr. Harvey’s focus is on providing comprehensive and compassionate care in a family-friendly environment. His greatest satisfaction is derived from educating and empowering parents and kids alike, so they may live healthy and happy lives.

 
Dr. Harvey is happily married and has two grown children. He is a lover of sports, music, movies, theatre, books and for better or worse-food!

Kristie Rivers, MD is a board-certified pediatrician in Boca Raton, Florida. She graduated from the University of Miami’s School of Medicine and then completed her pediatric residency training at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital in Orlando Florida, staying an extra year as chief resident. After residency, she returned to the Boca area where she grew up and has been practicing here ever since. She has worked part-time at Cohen and Sheinker Pediatrics since 2013.

Dr. Rivers is also the Assistant Medical Director for the Pediatric Hospitalist program at Salah Foundation Children's Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she has worked as a pediatric hospitalist since graduating from residency. She is also the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program. She enjoys training the next generation of pediatricians by teaching them both from the books and at the bedside.

When she is not taking care of children or teaching, Dr. Rivers enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with her husband and two rapidly growing boys.

Dr. Nicole Mark was born and raised in NJ. She attended the University of Maryland, where she obtained a BS in Neurophysiology. She received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Medicine and went onto complete her pediatric residency at the University of Florida. 

Dr. Mark is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been working as a pediatrician in South Florida for the past 17 years.  
She is also on the faculty with the FAU Medical School where she helps teach medical students pediatrics. She has been an active member in several non-profit organizations including eight years spent on the Board of the Youth Activity Center in Boca Raton.  In 2016, Dr. Mark was elected on the Board of the International 22Q Foundation where she currently is active on several initiatives within this non-profit organization. 
Dr. Mark resides in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband and two children and enjoys spending quality time with the family, traveling, and playing sports.  

Dr. Nguyen received her Bachelor’s of Science degree with honors at the University of California, Irvine. Her medical training was completed at Ross University School of Medicine and residency was completed at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY specializing in General Pediatrics. After residency, she moved back to California and worked for a prominent community clinic where she was the Medical Director of Pediatrics and Director of Quality Improvement and Assurance.

Dr. Nguyen is proficient in Spanish and Vietnamese, which has helped her to treat a wide range of patients. She is excited to be joining the Cohen & Sheinker team!

Lynnette grew up in southeast Tennessee and will forever consider herself a Tennessee girl. After graduating from nursing school, she started her nursing career in pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Memorial Hospital. There she first realized her love for babies and all things related to family. In 1993, after several years at home raising her two wonderful children, she was recruited to obtain her International Lactation Consultant certification. She was instrumental in establishing the first hospital-based breastfeeding program in Palm Beach County. For almost 20 years she taught breastfeeding and baby care classes, as well as provided education for physicians, nurses, and students as part of one of the leading Breastfeeding Resource Centers in South Florida. She has extensive experience in both hospital-based and private lactation consultations. Lynnette has been integral in helping to establish the Breastfeeding Center of Boca Raton and has been with us since 2013. In her spare time, she loves baking with her two grandsons. She is incredibly passionate about families and takes great joy in assisting them on their breastfeeding journey.
